Cylinder

Field of application

Cylinders serve to divide oil gaps into several, smaller oil gaps using the so called barrier technique. With this method a substantially increased strength is reached at given clearances.

Characteristics

Depending on the required stabilty, Cylinders are either manufactured from Nomex® T993 or calendered T993 (NBC).
