About Nomex® Angle Rings

High-temperature angle rings and caps are used in the design of transformer end insulation. 

Weidmann has a wide range of high-temperature angle rings and caps, machine and hand-molded from world-leading heat-resistant material Nomex®. These products are designed to cover all voltages and dimensions, to provide excellent electrical insulation, mechanical strength, and thermal endurance. 

Our high temperature drawn angle rings and caps are produced for smaller transformers from Nomex® 993. Manufactured by DuPont™, Nomex® is a synthetic aromatic polyamide polymer that provides long-term resistance to high temperatures.
