About Transformerboard
Low Density

Our calendered low density Transformerboard is made from unbleached kraft pulp and pure water and is available in a range of thicknesses from 1.0 mm – 5 mm.

The special properties of Transformerboard Low Density are produced on a board machine with a hot-air dryer and a sequencing calender. The whole manufacturing process chain, from the preparation of the pulp to the forming and drying of the sheet material, is monitored and controlled by modern process control systems.

Transformerboard Low Density is available in two grades:

Form-Val: Density is from 0.80g/cm³ to a maximum 1.05g/cm³; the range of thickness is from 1.0 mm to 4.0 mm. Form-Val can be classified as a low-density material.

Hi-Val: Density is from 0.90g/cm³ to a maximum 1.15g/cm³; the range of thickness is from 0.8 mm to 5.0 mm. Hi-Val can be classified as a medium-density material.
