Snouts and flange tubes are critical components in power transformers, providing insulation for the lead-out from windings and contributing to the overall integrity of the end insulation system. These components are designed to ensure safe electrical transition from the winding to the lead exit point, supporting both dielectric performance and mechanical stability.

Manufactured using a wet molding process, snouts and flange tubes are produced according to precise customer drawings, allowing for a high degree of customization. While the design possibilities are extensive, the creation of new molds may lead to longer delivery times.

Snouts can also be seamlessly combined with angle rings and caps to form an integrated, one-piece end insulation assembly – ensuring exact alignment with technical specifications and optimal performance within the transformer.
