for end insulation systems

Washers with spacer blocks are a key component of end insulation systems in power transformers, forming the insulating barrier between the winding and the yoke. They play a vital mechanical role by transferring the clamping force from the clamping ring to the winding assembly.

When configured in a “sandwich” arrangement, these washers also create open channels that allow for improved transformer oil circulation – enhancing cooling efficiency and supporting thermal performance.

End insulation assemblies with washers and pressure ring block washers can be supplied either as standard components or custom-manufactured according to detailed customer specifications. All washers are produced using high-quality Transformerboard T4, ensuring reliable insulation performance and mechanical durability.
